Singapore - NUSS Suntec Guild House

It was a farewell dinner for a friend going away for half a year, so we decided to have dinner at somewhere central and cosy. Someone suggested NUSS Suntec Guild House, being a member, and said that the food is good, hence we decided to give it a try! You have to take the lift from the first floor, which is tucked away in an obscure corner behind Carrefour and Starbucks to level five.

The restaurant has a nice ambience and a wide variety of food ranging from Asian to Western, and dishes were reasonably priced between $7-$20. Service was good as the food came pretty fast and the staff were attentive, especially since it wasn't very crowded.

First up, my friend ordered the Nonya Laksa. The portion was quite big, and it was not bad either.

Crispy fried chicken wings for appetisers. This was really good. Came piping hot and was crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside.

I had the Carbonara Alfredo. It was really nice, though after awhile the taste got too overwheming for me. Better to share this between two people.

Seafood Hor Fun! Yummy as well!

Last but not least, Fried Hokkien Mee. Not as good as the aforementioned dishes but is of good standard still.

Happy and full faces after a great meal with good company. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a nice place to sit and chitchat without the hustle and bustle of crowds and long waiting time. The food might be slightly pricier than food court prices, but I wouldn't mind paying for the ambience, service and quality of the food.
