Once in a while I will prepare breakfast in bed for my partner in the weekend to repay him for the sins i've committed during the week. Usually, I am only awake and alert during the weekends, i breeze through my weekdays in a zombie-like state.
Eggs are the most important breakfast ingredient for me. Bacon comes second, and mushroom third.
Pretty healthy, not totally fat free...but still a must.
I love my eggs scrambled or omelette style.
To make the omelette, i just add a pinch of salt, pepper, lots of button mushrooms and cheese. The smell of the eggs will fill up the entire room, and this is the best start to a Saturday morning! This big turner i bought from ikea is very useful. I can turn omelette/pancakes/any round shape food without breaking them. Such a good investment!
I served the eggs with some bread roll, oven-crisp bacon, together with apple and orange slices.
When i was young, my mother would forbid me for eating in bed.
For this breakfast, i went under the quilt, play some Will and Grace and enjoyed my breakfast with no dramas. I almost drifted back to sleep after breakfast. This is the way i like my weekend morning to start, the lazy way.
Now I have kids of my own who have never tried breakfast in bed before. soo...

Oh wow, I may sound dumb, but I didn't know that eggs had so much fat in them. Ooops?
