Singapore - Singapore Fried Hokkien Mee

So it was dinner at Whampoa Drive Hawker Centre, a hawker centre tucked away along Balestier Road. Seeing people eating the hokkien mee on the way in, which looked delicious, instead of ordering the usual, a plate of hokkien mee was ordered instead. And boy, was the decision not regretted.

This is the central aisle of the hawker centre. There is a variety of food catering to the various taste buds and well ventilated, thanks to high ceiling and fans.

This is the hokkien mee stall! The auntie stands on a stool and serves from the side after receiving a plate of freshly cooked hokkien mee from the cook.

look at the prices! geez wonder who orders the $10/$15 portion, unless its for a family meal. must be really huge since the $3 portion is already a pretty decent size.

Didn't take long for me to get my plate of hokkien mee since there were only 2 people ahead of me. The portion is generous and look how moist the noodles are!

Upclose of the plate. Looks are not deceiving in this case.

I really like my hokkien mee to be moist. The gravy for from this stall is fantastic too! Something to improve on would be the prawns were abit small and dry. but other than that, I would definitely recommend this place for the hokkien mee lovers!
